Burrard Arts Foundation

Renowned art curator Kate Bellringer invited us to reimagine the galleries, studios, and exhibition spaces of the Burrard Art Foundation on East 1st, creating an environment that could fully support resident artists and the Foundation’s ambitious programming. Study walls, robust drywall systems, and carefully calibrated lighting established spaces that were both functional and inspiring, balancing the needs of daily studio work with flexibility for exhibitions and public events. During its time in Vancouver, the Burrard Art Foundation hosted over 50 artist residencies, supported emerging talent, and brought art to the public through 28 large-scale projects and 115 exhibitions — all within spaces thoughtfully designed to celebrate the act of creation.
